EMPOWER~to give power or authority to

4 Oct

Remembering that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

There’s a new diagnosis of breast cancer every three minutes.  But early detection can make a difference.  So get a mammogram, talk to your doctor about your risk and be aware of changes in your body.  And encourage the women you love to do the same.  Have a monthly lunch or “date” with your friends or family and talk.  Make sure your loves ones are aware.

Making women aware of their health, choices and their bodies is important to me.  I have had friends and family members who have been affected by breast cancer.  If my words help one person and that one person passes on what they learned it can become a positive train reaction of difference in many women’s lives.

100% of the net profits will be donated to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade.
